Important Equipment Notices: All non-wood bats used in Little League Baseball (Majors) Division and below shall be printed with a Bat Performance Factor (BPF) of 1.15 or less. This stipulation has been in the Official Rules and Regulations for a number of years so that leagues and parents could prepare for it. Bats printed with a BPF higher than 1.15, or without a BPF printed/legible on the bat, are not permitted in these divisions.
Beginning in 2009, baseball bats with a diameter of 2-5/8 inches are now the standard for all teenage baseball divisions (Junior/Senior League). Bats with a diameter of 2-3/4 are no longer permitted for use in Junior League Division baseball. -- Little League International.
